Making a difference - what's a thesis to do?
So after watching the film Freedom Writers, the perpetual question of making a difference is popping up again. If you haven't seen the movie you should! It makes one want to teach or at least help those who have dire circumstances..
Anyways, im trying to figure out how my thesis will and if it will make a difference in someone's life. In a way, a thesis can be a call for action or activism. Im hoping mine will be such a thing.
Here are some more questions: What can studying visual culture tell us about someone's identity? What can clothing, art and acting tell us about our lives or rather should it?
