Recently, I had the great opportunity of heading to the Venice Biennale in Italy as a member of Canada's Aboriginal Curators Delegation. I was in Venice for about a week surrounded by great Aboriginal curators, artists, writers and many other interesting folks. I had a wonderful time and then traveled to Florence, Assisi and Rome. I will post some pictures shortly. It was a great opportunity to meditate on the intersections of art, nationalism and aesthetics...
