Great news! I won first prize for my photo of White Sands, New Mexico with the US Embassy Photo Contest.

I took this photo on the sunset tour of White Sands National Park in Southern New Mexico. The grey/blue shadows at that time were unbelievable on the gypsum sands. A whole unique ecosystem thrives in these dunes.
